Welcome to AATC Online Education – Level One Development Tennis Coach

Learning is a shared responsibility, and here at the AATC, we pride ourselves in Opening the Doors to Tennis so that you can walk through and commence your journey.

Our online program prepares you for the real world of Tennis Coaching.  Principles, theories and fundamentals are provided through these videos, training manuals and notes.

Upon completion, trainees will have a great start into the face to face component.

We also encourage all trainees to find a mentor locally to gain hands on experience which will enhance their overall experience in the course.

We have prepared 9 modules.

Module 1:      Care and Safety

Module 2:      Communication

Module 3:    Biomechanics – Introduction to Stroke Fundamentals (Forehand, Backhand, Serve, Volley)

Module 4:    Ball Feeding

Module 5:    Error Detection and Correction

Module 6:    Lesson Plans

Module 7:    Games. Drills and Activities (including fitness)

Module 8:    Assessment

Module 9:      Additional Training Material / Resources)
